#9. Sing for the moment

Kolejny Eminem "na poważnie". Piosenka moim zdaniem ponadczasowa i ponad podziałowa. Jeśli za 50 lat ktoś będzie wskazywał na lepsze piosenki Eminema pod względem tego, co zmieniły to "Sing for the moment" na bank się w owych wskazaniach znajdzie.
Marshall udowadnia tą piosenką, jak wielkim raperem jest i jak bardzo różni się od pozostałych raperów. Zdaje się, że on jeden widzi jak bardzo scena rapowa się zmieniła, i jak słowa jego, oraz innych rymujących gości kształtują młodych i wpływają na życie ludzi. Em pokazuje też bardzo dobitnie, jak krytycy i zrozpaczeni rodzice obrzucając jego osobę i muzykę błotem się mylą, a błędy wychowawcze tkwią w ignorancji i braku czasu rodzicieli.
Moim zdaniem "Sing for the moment" to brudne i szczere spojrzenie na mało znaczącą jednostkę w oczach ogółu, na to jak muzyka wpływa na ludzi i czym jest dla wielu, na to, jak przewrotne jest życie twórcy, na Amerykański przemysł muzyczny, oraz... na siebie samego. W piosence wykorzystano sampel z utworu "Dream on" Aerosmith. A sam Joe Perry zagrał solówkę pod koniec piosenki.
Piosenka znalazła się w albumie "Curtain Call: the hits"
Najważniejsze wersy moim zdaniem:
